Hurry up and wait!
A hearty "Congrantulatins!" greets you when you first level up in CityLand, a prodigious feat that requires you to do nothing more than tap on the screen four times. Ostensibly you're meant to be building a vast, thriving city by creating buildings, bringing in citizens, and being a general mover and shaker. In reality, however, there's a lot of waiting. Once you commit an action, there's a timer that lets you know how long you have to wait until you can perform that action again. And you need to do these actions because that's how the game is played. This feels a lot like a Facebook game, except I can't tell if there's a way to speed up operations by the judicious application of cash, which is a hallmark of such games. Instead, I set up a bunch of things to happen, and just kind of sat there staring at the screen for a while. So in many ways, this is even less fun than a Facebook game, which is something I never thought I'd see. Try it out for yourself; maybe I missed something. Hope you have fun! -- Keoni C.
