Why hasn't this been done before?
Shanghai -- which a lot of people incorrectly call "Mahjong" -- is a game in which you have to remove pairs of tiles from a layout until they're all gone. What can make this difficult is not knowing which tiles are buried beneath another, and this is due to the immobile nature of the viewpoint. In 3D Shanghai Mahjong, however, the camera is no longer fixed in place. You can tilt the viewpoint slightly to be able to see the strata of the layout, and this can be a huge benefit when planning your next move. You can also lock the view in place if you want to focus on a static image, and this is also very helpful. What this game lacks is an indicator that tells you when you've run out of moves, but by that point it's usually evident, so this is not a deal-breaker by any stretch. Shanghai is a simple game, but this tilting mechanic helps make it better. -- Keoni C.

The goal of the game is to find pairs of identical tiles and remove them. Only tiles which are not blocked from left/right/top could be removed. You will need to remove all tiles to finish the game.
