PhoneTapper Free

PhoneTapper is a free, simple mobile recorder.
NEW !! After Jellybean 4.1 update, call source VOICE_CALL may work for some phones, when recording both parties of the call.
Also try XRecorder with call source VOICE_CALL and Wave codec. Works on SGS2 (4.1.2).

For manuel recordings, the phones microphone is always used as source.

Record your own ringtones and set them from the Player menu.

Customize background (transfer background.jpg to SD-card)

Call recording is started automatically (optional, press menu to set !).

Send your recordings by email or bluetooth.
Phone numbers are converted to names or pictures from contacts.

The default audio source after installing is “Uplink”. This should work for many phones (including Samsung Galaxy S2 and Sony Ericsson Ray).
If you have an older Sony Ericsson phone (Xperia 10 mini) try audio source “Voice Call” for recording of both parties.
Some phones (like HTC) only work with “Mic” audio source. To improve recording of the other part, turn on the phones speaker.
Also select your appropriate call codec (mp4 or 3gp) in preferences (menu). Wave codec (for improved sound quality) is only available in Xrecorder version.
