I don't want to think too hard about a dark future where we only know animals by our photos and videos of them, because they've gone extinct. The way the Earth is going, though, many already have. So against such a time, we've got Kids Zoo Animal Sounds & Photos, a delightful little app that displays a creature's photo and plays the sound of that animal's common utterance. You also have the option of having the name of the animal spoken aloud in a default robotic voice. One of the interesting things about this app is its use of potentially copyright infringing pictures, like the image of The Lion King's Simba when it opens, or the Twitter bird as the icon for the Birds section. I mean, really? You couldn't find someone to just draw you a picture? Regardless, young kids will really enjoy Kids Zoo Animal Sounds & Photos. -- Keoni C.
