AirDroid is a way to interface with your Android phone using the Internet. You start up the app and it gives you an IP address and a password, which you plug into your favorite browser, and you're given a desktop-like display with several icons that represent various items on your phone. Why would you do this? To be clear, there's nothing you can do with AirDroid that you can't do via your phone. In fact, there are a few functions missing from current AirDroid, like the ability to view videos. But to be frank, it's just cooler to look at your phone's files this way. You can see your contacts, your messages, your photos, etc., all using a very nice UI. This is a work in progress, and AirDroid developers say that more functionality is on the way, but even as it stands, it's a pretty great app that deserves your download. -- Keoni C.
