Everyone's buzzing about The Cloud, that vaguely-apprehended section of the Internet that stores our files. Really, that functionality has been with us for a while now; it's just never had a clever name. Regardless, Syncplicity, despite its somewhat awkward name, does what the other such services like Dropbox do: It saves your files to its online servers. The app itself is nice and compact, though it's missing a couple of key features. First, it's not possible to send multiple files for upload, forcing the user to submit them one by one. Second, when an upload fails, tapping the notification does not result in another upload attempt. These are hardly deal-breakers, especially since you get 2 GB of storage for free, but they are things that I hope Syncplicity corrects in upcoming releases. -- Keoni C.
